Gregory M. Scotto, CPA is the managing member of Scotto & Melchiorre LLC, exhibiting more than fifteen years of experience in all facets of business accounting including, but not limited to, Tax Audit, Internal Controls, Profit Analysis, Payroll Tax and Sales Tax.
Gregory earned a Bachelor’s degree from the Zicklin School of Business at Bernard Baruch College. He has been a New York State Certified Public Accountant since 2009, and has gained extensive knowledge in pass-through entities such as S-Corporations and Partnerships (LLC/LLP), as well as individual income tax advantages.
Specializing in tax planning for small/medium-sized businesses, Gregory provides a level of knowledge and experience to assist his clients in the latest Tax Law advantages in their business sector. In addition, he provides Audit, Review and Compilation services through Gregory Scotto, CPA, P.C. for clients, as well as assisting them in obtaining debt financing via financial institutions.

Wesley Melchiorre, EA is a hands-on partner at the firm of Scotto & Melchiorre Group LLC specializing in business accounting and tax consulting. He is an experienced Enrolled Agent (EA) and trusted advisor who contributes to making a positive difference throughout the Long Island, New York Metro area and New Jersey. As a financial advisor, he provides his clients assistance in the areas of accounting, financial controls, reporting, budgeting and forecasting, insurance audits, Workers’ Compensation audits, mergers and acquisitions, succession planning, estate planning and retirement planning. Additionally, he acts as the CFO (CFO on the go) for clients that require this service.
As an Enrolled agent (EA), Wesley is recognized by the IRS as a Federally licensed tax practitioner who specializes in taxation and has unlimited rights to represent taxpayers before the IRS. This encompasses representing and preparing tax returns for individuals, partnerships, corporations, estates, trusts, and any entities with tax-reporting requirements.
Wesley received a BS in Corporate Finance from Bentley University in Waltham, MA and is pursuing an MBA from St. Joseph’s College in Patchogue, NY. He has more than fifteen years of accounting and business ownership experience working with clients in the medical, real estate, legal, consumer products and business services arenas, however, his specialty is in the hospitality industry. He has been a trusted advisor to wholesalers, retailers, distributors and service providers.
Evaluating the clients’ current business model, Wesley provides guidance and the targeted accounting services to meet their specific financial goals. He customizes a strategic plan and initiates the steps required to achieve financial growth.
Wesley enjoys spending time with his wife and three daughters.
Perry Colletti received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting from Long Island University and is a licensed CPA in the State of New York.
Since 1989, Perry has gained extensive experience working with long-standing business and tax clients. His years of experience have enabled him to quickly identify complex issues and arrive at practical solutions for his clients.
Perry has grown his practice on the strong belief that trust is the foundation of relationships. “I am proud of the relationships I have developed over the years both personally and professionally. I am now on the third generation of many clients, my original client base referred me to their parents and now those same clients have referred me to their adult children. It feels good to help as well as get to know the needs, goals and objectives of the clients I work with”.
Today, Perry resides in Massapequa, New York, has two grown children and two grand-children.
Since 2015, David M. Isaacs II is the Accounting Manager for Scotto & Melchiorre Group LLC. He possesses a BBA in Accounting from Florida Atlantic University and an MBA in Accounting from St. Joseph’s College on Long Island, NY. He is on target to obtain his CPA license for New York State. David demonstrates more than six years of diverse accounting experience including tax resolution matters, business accounting and response to client inquiries. He oversees the workflow of his team, ensuring fulfillment of each client’s accounting needs.
He has direct experience working with restaurants, solar development companies, contractors, artists and management companies, as well as many other small to medium-sized businesses. David remains abreast of cutting edge tax changes that would directly impact small to medium-sized businesses. He strives to provide the best service to the firm’s clients, always taking the client’s current business model into consideration, which leads to both present and future growth.
David is a high-performer who thinks outside the box, but always considers the parameters with which he is working. He is an exceptional multitasker who takes pride in his open communication style with both his clients and internal team. Clients and colleagues view him as informative, innovative and communicative.
James Fleming is a senior accountant at Scotto & Melchiorre Group. He has over seven years of experience in public accounting and in that time has worked with a diverse clientele in many different industries. James is well versed in all facets of taxation for corporations and partnerships. He also has extensive knowledge in the preparation and planning of personal income taxes.
James earned his Bachelors of Science in accounting at SUNY Old Westbury and went on to earn his MBA in accounting at Keller Graduate School of Management.
Nicole Craveiro is the Administrator at Scotto & Melchiorre Group. Nicole is currently pursuing a Master of Science degree in Human Resources at Stony Brook University and has a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration as well as an Associate's degree in Liberal Arts and Sciences. Nicole is a member of the HIA-LI Human Resources Committee, Ms. Moxxie, Society for Human Resource Management - Long Island and Financial Women’s Association of New York. Nicole is a certified Human Resource professional and Notary Public.
Diana Bertolami is the Bookkeeping Manager at Scotto & Melchiorre Group. Diana has specialized in restaurant bookkeeping for several years. Diana has an Associate's degree in Accounting and is currently pursuing her Bachelor's degree.
Cynthia Cortes is a bookkeeper at Scotto & Melchiorre Group. Cynthia has an Associate’s degree in Business Management from Fortis College. She is 2016 graduate of the Parent Leadership Initiative and a board member of Uplift Our Towns.
Natalia Gutierrez is a bookkeeper at Scotto & Melchiorre Group with over a decade of experience. Natalia specializes in Payroll, Collections, Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable. Natalia has a Bachelor's of Science from Stony Brook University. She will be in the process of pursuing her MBA in Accounting.
